To christen in the new blog I wanted to tell the story of how Travelers Defense came to exist and why it is going to revolutionize the travel industry.

Travelers Defense Storytime

It all started circa 2008 when three friends got together to talk about their passions which happened to all be travel.  Two of the friends worked as outside sales reps at large companies and traveled the world on business most of the week and on then again on the weekends for pleasure.  The third member although not an sales rep, was also a chronic world traveler and with this as their background they began to brainstorm.

They talked about all the phenomenal places they had been and even more about the places they wanted to visit until finally they started to see a few common threads.  Travel sickness, jet lag and insomnia were just a few of the recurring themes.  They talked about home remedies for these ailments and even a few over the counter “cures” and came to a few realizations.

1. They didn’t really work that well.  Most of the remedies or cures were either placebos or old wives tales.

2. They were costly and time consuming

This is essentially where Travelers Defense was born, out of the necessity for a holistic travel supplement that you could take to protect your self from jet lag, altitude sickness, airborne pathogens and travel insomnia.  So the three friends went out on a search to learn everything there was to know about these ailments.

Along the way, the three friends learned a great deal about things they never really knew existed.  From circadian rhythms and air cabin pressure to recirculated air and health codes, they studied it all.  After they decided that it was possible and had a plan on how to execute, they enlisted the help of one of the nations largest nutritional manufactures to help them perfect the blend.

and….Viola!  Several months later, Travelers Defense was born.  Already a favorite amount top level executives and CEO’s, Travelers Defense is poised and ready to revolutionize the way you travel.  No longer do you have to carry around 5-6 bottles of pills just to enjoy your flight.  Now all you need is Travelers Defense and you can kick back and enjoy your travels.

But that’s not all, because its not just about turning a profit, no no.  Its also about giving back to the industry by arming the worlds travelers with information.  Information that can save them money, save them time, save them pain and suffering and first and foremost, save them the time it takes to research and stay on top of all the breaking news in the travel industry.  That is what the Travelers Defense Healthy Travel Blog is all about.  Arming you the traveler with the information you need to have a safe, enjoyable, relaxing flight for as cheap as possible.
